Who we are

Namaz Buddy is a product of Coftware (“we”). We operate namazbuddy.com and the Namaz Buddy mobile application. This policy explains what we collect and why. The website currently publishes editorial pages and a blog; accounts and gameplay live in the app.

What we collect

• Account: email, username, and sign-in via Google or Apple.
• Profile choices: country, language, optional fasting check-ins.
• Gameplay: matches, lives, league placement, quiz answers.
• Location: only with permission, to calculate prayer times and Qibla.
• Device and notifications: OneSignal push tokens, app version, crash logs.
• Purchases: store receipts for weekly full lives and later Plus entitlements. We do not store full card numbers.
• Website: standard server logs and pages you visit. The public site does not host a social feed.

How we use it

To run the quiz, keep your profile, send Adhan or match reminders you opted into, show rewarded ads you choose, restore purchases, and improve the product. We do not sell personal data. Mood (Hal) is stored to serve a verse from a curated pool; it is not posted and is not used as a medical or therapeutic profile.

Retention and deletion

You can request account deletion from the app or by emailing privacy@namazbuddy.com. We delete or anonymise gameplay tied to you unless we must keep a record (for example a processed purchase) for a legally required period.
